This smoothie is so warming and delicious, you will be jumping out of your bed to make it. Full of fiber, healthy fats and antioxidants, it’s a great way to start your day on a chilly winters morning.
Cacao is used in this recipe and it isn’t considered a superfood for nothing!  Studies have shown that cacao can increase energy levels, improve memory, and boost immunity. Not to mention it also contains anandamide which creates a feeling of euphoria (scientists call it the bliss molecule), as well as phenethylamine which acts as an aphrodisiac – ah yes, we will definitely be having some of that.
You will need:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 date
  • ¼ tsp fresh vanilla pod
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp oats (can use GF)

Blend all the ingredients for two minutes and serve.
