These Vegan Banana ice cream pops are super easy to make and will help give you a healthy cold sugar hit, without having to make a stop at your local dairy. Made with less than 5 ingredients, and no nasty ingredients, they are the perfect treat for  children begging for something sweet and cold this summer!

Anyone who is an avid smoothie maker, will know the importance a frozen ripe banana can make. This recipe is genius because it utilizes the already-perfect consistency of frozen bananas, as well as utiliizes the already natural and sweet banana flavour! You basically don’t have to do anything! This is healthy vegan food at its best.

Ingredients:

3 Ripe bananas

Skewers

Raw chocolate frosting:

120ml melted cacao butter
40g raw cacao powder
1 tbsp agave syrup

Chopped hazelnuts

Melt the cacao over a bowl of boiled water. Whisk in the cacao powder and agave syrup. Set aside to cool a little. Dip in the banana pops and freeze for several hours.

Instructions: 
Cut the bananas in two halves, stick each half on a stick of some sort and freeze overnight. The next day, decorate with the chocolate frosting and chopped hazelnuts, freeze again for a few hours and serve ice cold.
